StarRoom Safety Policy (Binding) YOUR SAFETY AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE ON STARROOM DEPEND ON FOLLOWING THIS POLICY AT ALL TIMES. 1. Personal information — strictly prohibited Sharing or requesting phone numbers, addresses, email for off-platform contact, WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat, Instagram handles for diversion, payment IDs, bank/UPI details, or any other personal identifying information in chat, calls, profiles, or gifts is strictly prohibited for hosts and fans. Violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, withheld payouts, and referral to authorities where appropriate. 2. Respectful communication required You must be respectful at all times. Vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, abusive, profane, hateful, discriminatory, or degrading language or behavior is prohibited. Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, blackmail, and intimidation are prohibited. 3. Prohibited content and conduct You may not promote violence, illegal drugs or weapons, terrorism, exploitation of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, human trafficking, or any illegal activity. Impersonation, fake identities, and fraud are prohibited. 4. Live voice and video calls Calls are real-time and at your own risk. StarRoom does not guarantee supervision of every session. You must not record, screenshot, redistribute, or publish call content without explicit consent from all participants. StarRoom is not responsible for what users say or do on calls. 5. No offline meetings solicited Do not pressure others to meet offline or move relationships off the app. StarRoom disclaims liability for offline contact that occurs despite this rule. 6. Reporting Report unsafe or abusive behavior through Contact Us in the app. For emergencies involving immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. 7. Moderation and enforcement StarRoom may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, hold or cancel payouts where permitted, suspend or permanently ban accounts, preserve evidence, and cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, and payment partners without prior notice. 8. No duty to monitor To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarRoom has no obligation to monitor all chats, calls, or content but may do so for safety, legal compliance, or fraud prevention. 9. Assumption of risk You assume all risks arising from interactions with other users, including emotional distress, offensive content, and disputes. You are solely responsible for your conduct and for protecting your own personal information. 10. Disclaimer of liability StarRoom and its affiliates disclaim liability for acts or omissions of users, including offensive speech, criminal conduct, or personal injury, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. 11. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StarRoom from claims, damages, fines, and costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from your conduct, your sharing of personal information, your violations of this policy, or harm you cause to others on or off the platform. 12. Account termination StarRoom may terminate access at any time for any violation or risk, with or without refund of unused virtual goods where permitted by law. 13. Policy updates This Safety Policy may change without notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the current version. Content ownership & copyright StarRoom does not own, control, or endorse user-generated content on the platform. Hosts, fans, and other users are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, display, stream, or share. StarRoom provides the platform as an intermediary only and disclaims liability for user content to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights, report it through Contact Us in the app with sufficient detail (URLs, timestamps, description of the work, and your contact information). StarRoom may remove or restrict content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion. Contact Us & WhatsApp support WhatsApp support through Contact Us is enabled for accounts with a coin/hearts balance greater than zero. Users without a balance may submit requests through in-app ticket support via Contact Us.
