Restriction Policy

StarRoom Restriction & Acceptable Use Policy (Binding) USE OF STARROOM IS A PRIVILEGE SUBJECT TO THESE RESTRICTIONS. BREACH MAY TERMINATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND FORFEIT VIRTUAL BALANCES WHERE LAW ALLOWS. 1. Personal information — zero tolerance Phone numbers, personal email, social handles used to move off-app, WhatsApp, Telegram, and any personal contact or payment information may not be shared or requested in any form. This rule applies equally to hosts and fans during chats, calls, stories, and promotions. 2. Respectful behavior mandatory No vulgar, obscene, profane, abusive, or disrespectful communication. Be respectful in all interactions. Hate speech, slurs, sexual harassment, and repeated unwanted contact are prohibited. 3. In-app payments only All monetization must use StarRoom billing. Do not solicit or accept UPI, bank transfer, cash, crypto, or third-party payment links. Do not ask VIPs or fans to pay outside the app. Circumvention may result in permanent ban and legal action. 4. Virtual currency and subscriptions Hearts, coins, boosters, VIP, and subscriptions are licensed for in-app use only, non-transferable, and non-refundable except as required by mandatory law. Balances may be adjusted or revoked for fraud, chargebacks, or policy violations. 5. Purchase acknowledgments Each purchase confirms you agree to the Refund Policy and that digital goods are delivered immediately upon credit to your account. Disputes with stores or banks do not entitle you to duplicate benefits. 6. Account rules One account per individual unless authorized. No account selling, sharing, bots, scripted abuse, or credential fraud. StarRoom may device-limit, geo-limit, or feature-limit access. 7. Technical abuse prohibited No scraping, reverse engineering, exploiting bugs for unfair advantage, DDoS, malware, spam campaigns, or unauthorized APIs. No automated harassment or mass messaging. 8. Content and IP Upload only content you have rights to use. StarRoom may remove infringing or harmful material and terminate repeat infringers. 9. Host and fan obligations Follow call agreements and community rules shown in-app. Hosts must not divert fans off-platform. Fans must not pressure hosts for personal contact or off-app payments. 10. Enforcement and legal remedies StarRoom may warn, restrict, hold payouts, remove content, ban permanently, preserve records, and pursue civil or criminal remedies where permitted. Prior warnings are not required. 11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability Services are provided AS IS. StarRoom is not liable for user misconduct, data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. 12. Indemnification You indemnify StarRoom against claims arising from your breach, your off-platform conduct encouraged by your in-app behavior, payment abuse, or infringement of third-party rights. 13. Relationship of policies This policy works together with the Refund Policy, Safety Policy, Terms (T&C), and Privacy Policy. The strictest rule applies in case of conflict for user obligations. 14. Changes Restrictions may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use or purchase constitutes acceptance. Content ownership & copyright StarRoom does not own, control, or endorse user-generated content on the platform. Hosts, fans, and other users are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, display, stream, or share. StarRoom provides the platform as an intermediary only and disclaims liability for user content to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights, report it through Contact Us in the app with sufficient detail (URLs, timestamps, description of the work, and your contact information). StarRoom may remove or restrict content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion. Contact Us & WhatsApp support WhatsApp support through Contact Us is enabled for accounts with a coin/hearts balance greater than zero. Users without a balance may submit requests through in-app ticket support via Contact Us.
