StarRoom Refund & Purchase Policy (Binding)
BY COMPLETING ANY IN-APP PURCHASE (INCLUDING HEARTS, COINS, BOOSTERS, VIP, VOICE PACK, OR SUBSCRIPTIONS), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THIS POLICY, OUR SAFETY POLICY, RESTRICTION POLICY, TERMS, AND PRIVACY POLICY.
1. Final sale — no refunds
All digital purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Once a transaction is confirmed through Google Play, Apple App Store, Razorpay, or any other authorized processor, StarRoom does not provide refunds, credits, or reversals for buyer remorse, accidental taps, unused balances, dissatisfaction with hosts or calls, connectivity issues, device failure, or any similar reason.
2. Virtual goods only
Hearts, coins, and related items are consumable virtual currency for in-app use only. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, sold, or transferred outside StarRoom, and do not create any property interest in your favor.
3. Subscriptions (VIP / voice pack)
Recurring subscriptions renew according to the plan and store or payment provider rules until you cancel through the applicable store or billing channel. Cancellation stops future charges only; prior charges remain non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
4. User responsibility before purchase
You are solely responsible for verifying the product, amount, currency, and account before confirming payment. StarRoom is not liable for purchases made on the wrong account, by minors without guardian consent, or through unauthorized access to your device or credentials.
5. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Filing a chargeback, payment reversal, or fraudulent dispute after receiving virtual goods or subscription access may be treated as abuse. StarRoom may suspend or terminate your account, revoke benefits, withhold host payouts where permitted, and pursue recovery of amounts, fees, and damages permitted by law.
6. Conduct tied to purchases
Purchases do not excuse violations of platform rules. Sharing phone numbers, personal contact information, WhatsApp, Telegram, UPI/payment links, vulgar language, profanity, abuse, harassment, or off-platform solicitation forfeits any claim to refunds or credits and may result in immediate termination.
7. Respectful use required
All paid features must be used respectfully. Abusive, threatening, obscene, or hateful conduct during or after a purchase voids goodwill remedies and supports enforcement action.
8. Processor and tax terms
Billing, receipts, and refunds (if any) required by law are governed by the applicable app store or payment provider terms in addition to this policy. Displayed prices may include applicable taxes or fees as shown at checkout.
9. No warranties on digital content
Virtual goods and services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarRoom and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from purchases or use of virtual goods, even if advised of the possibility.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StarRoom from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your purchases, misuse of the platform, chargeback abuse, or breach of this policy or applicable law.
12. Remedies and enforcement
StarRoom may modify prices, packages, or availability; suspend accounts; claw back virtual balances where permitted; and cooperate with payment processors and authorities regarding fraud or abuse.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated at any time. Continued purchases or use after updates constitute acceptance. Where local law grants non-waivable consumer rights, those rights apply only to the minimum extent required and do not expand voluntary refund obligations beyond this policy.
Content ownership & copyright
StarRoom does not own, control, or endorse user-generated content on the platform. Hosts, fans, and other users are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, display, stream, or share. StarRoom provides the platform as an intermediary only and disclaims liability for user content to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
If you believe any content infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights, report it through Contact Us in the app with sufficient detail (URLs, timestamps, description of the work, and your contact information). StarRoom may remove or restrict content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion.
Contact Us & WhatsApp support
WhatsApp support through Contact Us is enabled for accounts with a coin/hearts balance greater than zero. Users without a balance may submit requests through in-app ticket support via Contact Us.
